As a mod mom, who’s always so busy, but manages to keep trendy. There are a vast amount of items one could pick up for her. Check out some of my Mod Mom picks:
Here’s a peek at some of the clothing to debut…
ASOS | ASOS Tailored Pleat Waist Tulip Dress at ASOS.
I decided to do something a little different with my Jewelry Features of the Week. Instead of just picking a particular jewelry design, I will be matching it up with apparel from some of my favorite sites and creating the “Look of the Week.” This week I chose this lovely tan tulip dress from ASOS and matched it up with the Navy Shiny Ring. This outfit can work inside the office, as well as, after work networking and drinks.
As many designers gathered at New York City’s Fashion Week unveiling their Spring 2011 collections down the runway, many showed fabulous colors and designs. As this notorious adventurous event comes to an end, I’ve picked out some of my cute favs. Although there were many more, these are some of the ones I found to be cute and fitting to me that I could see myself indulging in. Enjoy!
Determined with a challenge, Sheena Matheiken wore 1 dress for 365 days. How did she jazz up this basic black tunic dress? Check out her “Uniform Project.”
One of my favorite designers the “Slovak Jamaican” Lubica Slovak has teamed up with one of my favorite singers, Tami Chynn and created the most edgy and girly apparel collection ever. Bubbling with excitement, I personally cannot wait until the collection is released. Unveiling the collection on April 7th, Lubica’s designs are definitely must “haves” for the summer.
Spring is almost here! These are some of the picks that I’m going to love this spring. As a matter of fact I’m going to start counting down the days because this cold weather has to bye-bye!!
Not letting this recession put a damper on my summer fun, a few weekends ago the hubby and I decided to take a trip out to the water park. I’ve always loved water as child for as long as I can remember. It was one of the reasons I looked forward to summer time, just the thrill and excitement of spending endless hours in a pool or at the beach or even a water park.
There is one thing about the summer that I love—water slides. I put on my wonderful two piece bikini (I don’t think I own a one piece) and climbed the wooden steps to this towering tube waterslide. Filled with the same thrill and excitement I felt as a youngster, I took off down the gigantic water of fun. As I came splashing into the pool at the end of the slide, my bikini top came slithering off. Luckily, since I am and avid swimmer I was able to duck under water and re- affix the strings and come up above water without flashing the 150 people in the surrounding area. With all that I think it’s time for me to invest in a cute one pieces swimsuit. Here are some of my picks.
This is our match up this week from The Pink Locket. Of course from another one of my favorite stores, Urban Outfitters, the Rebel earrings go great with denim, so why not make it a summery denim like this strapless dress.
It’s a great feeling to make a sale, but the feeling just goes through the roof when someone in a different country has an eye on your artwork. My first international sale was from a friend of mine in Japan. That was probably the most memorable jewelry piece I have ever designed. It was called a “Memory Necklace.” Spending so much time really sketching out the details, I was proud to see the finished piece.
Just when I feel as though I’m not sure what’s next–the next thing happens. You could only imagine the thoughts that ran through my head when I saw my Etsy Store sale from a customer in the UK. What made it even more exciting was that it was one of my first men’s jewelry pieces I designed, cuff links. Check out my Etsy Store for additional cuff links I’ve created.
